In these applications cutter head related factors like reliability, predictability and low spillage in the bottom layer are very important. In harder soil conditions, vibration levels of the cutter suction dredger are also an important consideration.
The MPC04 and T0–T1 cutter head sizes are ideally suited for sand and gravel operations. The larger T-series cutter heads are specifically designed for mineral mining applications.
